Working With Me

Therapy is deeply personal—and choosing the right therapist matters.

Here’s what clients often say they appreciate about working with me:

I bring both compassion and clinical expertise.

I specialize in eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring challenges, and I’m trained in evidence-based approaches like EMDR, DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. But beyond the techniques, I show up with honesty, warmth, and care.

I believe in full recovery.

Even if you’re not sure you believe in yourself yet, I do. I hold hope for every client I work with, and I’ll walk alongside you as you move toward the life you want.

I meet you where you are.

You don’t have to be “ready” or have everything figured out. I work collaboratively, honoring your pace, your voice, and your goals—because healing isn’t linear.

I create an affirming, inclusive space.

My practice affirms all bodies, identities, and lived experiences. You are welcome here as you are—and I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity, not judgment.

I’ve been there—on both sides.

My passion for this work is rooted in both professional experience and my own recovery journey. I understand how hard, nonlinear, and meaningful this path can be. You don’t have to do it alone.

My past field experiences include training at UNC’s Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders, practicum experience at Freedom House Recovery Center’s Crisis/Detox Unit, and a school counseling internship at Ephesus Elementary School.

I worked as a PRN therapist at Carolina House before becoming a full-time therapist at Veritas Collaborative’s adult hospital (now The Emily Program), where I later served as the Community of Support Manager and then as the PHP/IOP Manager.

In 2022, I helped establish a new PHP/IOP program in Chapel Hill for general mental health with Pasadena Villa Outpatient, where I served as the Clinical Site Director. While I valued the leadership experience, I missed my direct work with eating disorders. I transitioned back to outpatient care for a couple of years before launching my own private practice in October 2024.
